Residential Drop-offs
Our residential drop-off, located on the first floor of our Lower Price Hill facility, provides a convenient one-stop-drop for hundreds of household items that shouldn’t be disposed of in the trash, but are typically not accepted in curbside recycling. Some items are accepted at no charge while others incur fees. See the list below for an overview of what we accept:
1. Recylable Items
E-waste Plus
We accept many household items classified as e-waste or universal waste, which includes electronics, batteries, and lightbulbs. These items may contain hazardous elements and require specialized processing along with additional fees. You can review the full list of accepted items.

General Waste and Plastics
Looking to divert more than your curbside recycling allows? The Hub accepts many general household items like metal, soft and rigid plastic, certain textiles, and more. Make sure all items are clean and dry and sorted properly. (Watch a helpful video here.) Most of these items will then be recycled into new material by our throughly-vetted downstream partners. Price for drop-off: The cost is $15/month or as little as $10/month for Hub Club members. Learn more about membership here.
2. Reusable items
The Hub provides reusable items to numerous local nonprofits such as New Life Furniture Bank, Matthew 25 Ministries, and Our Daily Bread. These items include wrapped plastic utensils, eyewear, medical materials, shoes, jeans, pill bottles, and more. Learn more about where our reusable items go.

3. Resellable items
Whether you’re cleaning out a garage, down-sizing, or just have some spare odds-and-ends, the Hub is here for you. Bring us your unwanted—but still usable—items and we will extend their life to keep them out of the landfill. The items will be placed for resale in our Hub Shop. Learn more.

Items not accepted at the Hub
While we do process a wide range of materials, items considered as Household Hazardous Waste such as paint, gasoline, or motor oil are not accepted. We also do not accept furniture or most clothing. A full list of items not accepted at the Hub is available here.
