What is a Drop-off day?
On Drop-off Days—every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday—Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub is open to the public, providing area residents with a destination for hard-to-recycle materials including metal, styrofoam, certain textiles, plastics (not accepted in curbside recycling), electronics, batteries, lightbulbs, tires, and more. Items that can be reused can also be donated to the Hub. These items will be donated or sold in our retail shop which also operates at our facility during open hours.
Why sponsorships are so important.
Sponsorships provide the Hub with critical financial support that helps maintain proper staffing to avoid closures, covers the cost of our ever-expanding storage needs, and allows us to continue to accept items that are costly to process. Sponsorships also make an enormous impact on our community. At each residential drop-off, we achieve staggering waste diversion numbers that are not possible if our doors are closed to the public.
On average, at every residential drop-off we:

Divert 4,000 pounds of material from landfills!
Serve nearly one customer every minute we’re open!
