HOW YOUR DONATION SUPPORTS THE HUB:

$4 - box to collect crayons, eyeglasses, straws, used or unwrapped plastic utensils, or corks at an off-site collection location

$6 - roll of packing tape, which we use to close all of our Terracycle and Soles4Souls boxes

$7 - pail and a lid that we need to ship batteries safely

$13 - one large cardboard box that we use to collect and ship electronics

$90 - full tank of gas for our pick-up and delivery van

$105 - roll of 50 huge bags that we use to collect and ship Styrofoam

$250 - towards shipping costs for up to 6 pallets of batteries and lightbulbs

$975 - shipping cost to send 2 large cardboard boxes, 1 filled with CDs, 1 filled with VHS tapes to GreenDisk for recycling

$7833 - one month’s rent

We have taken in recyclables from over 70 zip codes since opening on April 1, 2021. Our hopes are to continue to grow and expand our collections next year and we can only do that with your help!

The Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run entirely by volunteers. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Donations help us cover our operating expenses (including our rent) and our program expenses (including the cost of shipping plastic to the recycler).
