T.G.I. Craft Night: Paper Flowers
Our popular T.G.I. Craft Night will be held again on Friday May 3rd from 6-8PM! The theme is Paper Flowers and we'll have all the supplies to create beautiful bouquets, garlands, and decorations!
Participants with hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills is highly recommended. (For example able to tie shoes or able to cut with with scissors). Adult must be signed up with child(ren) and each must sign up as a participant.

T.G.I. Craft Night: Reuse & Reciprocate Art Challenge
Our popular T.G.I. Craft Night will be held again on Friday June 7th from 6-8PM!
For June's event we're going to do a reuse & reciprocate art challenge. Participants will pick out materials from our 4th floor reuse shop and begin working on their project. We'll set a timer and when it goes off you'll swap your art project with a neighbor and continue working from where they left off. This swapping of projects will occur several times resulting in your own collaborative art piece at the end of the night.

ZeroLandfill Take Away Day
We've been saving design samples/swatches, carpet books, fabrics, laminates, wall covering books/samples, brick and tile aggregate, school supplies, and empty product binders from the landfill and we want YOU to come repurpose them! Bring your boxes and bags to the Hub and haul away any items you'd like to repurpose or reuse!
Please note that the 4th floor space is not temperature controlled.
There is no cost for admission, but we'd really appreciate donations to help with our costs to keep this space operational and for holding future Take Away events!
Sustainable Swap: Personal Care & Accessories
The Hub is hosting their 2nd Sustainable Swap of the year! Join us for a personal care & accessories swap in our 2nd floor Remaker Space.
Because of the nature of these products, this a controlled swap. The Hub will not allow any potential hazardous/contaminated products to enter the swap.
Here's how to participate:
1. Bring your products to the 2nd floor and stop at the check in entry table.
2. Volunteers will evaluate your items and accepted items will be placed into the swap shopping area. Any items that are unacceptable for the swap will be rejected and will need to return home with you.
3. After "shopping" the swap area, check out with the volunteers at the exit for us to get a count of items leaving the swap.
4. Enjoy your new to you products!

T.G.I. Craft Night
T.G.I. Craft Night! Join us for our monthly meetup held on the first Friday of every month. For March, we have a special guest instructor, Angela. She will guide us in creating "junk journals" from found materials. Create your own journal using supplies from our cache of fabric and wallpaper samples along with other odds and ends or bring your own momentos to include.
Recommended age for this activity is 5 and up as it requires a bit of manual dexterity (able to cut with a pair of scissors) and includes the use of a hot glue gun.
Our Remaker Space in our warehouse is kept at a temperature of 62 degrees, so dress warmly!

Telescope Recycling and Repair Fair at the Hub
Bring in your new or used telescope and accessories to Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub on January 27, 2024 from 2p-5p for Dean Regas, astronomy expert, to offer advice, minor repairs, and accept donations.
For telescope repairs, advice, and tune-ups, a reservation is required. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up for a timeslot to bring in your telescope for an appointment.
If you want to donate a telescope or telescope parts, then no reservations are required. Telescopes and accessories in any condition are welcome. Dean Regas and his team can repair, resell, or recycle used telescope parts to give them a new life under the stars and all proceeds will be donated to the Hub!

Visit us at Off Pike Market to drop off recyclable items that will be brought to the Hub!
All items must be clean, dry, and free of food residue for recycling.

- Kroger Brands flexible plastic bag packaging: Kroger Co., Private Selection, Simple Truth, Comforts, HemisFares, Luvsome, Abound.
- Oral care products: all brands used toothbrushes, empty toothpaste tubes and caps, deodorant containers and caps, empty floss containers, and floss picks.
- Contact lens packaging: all brands of contact lens blister packs, contact lens storage cases, contact lens solution caps, eye drop single-dose units, and eye drop bottles.
- Silica packets.
- Corks.

Fee-based Electronic Waste Collection:
Batteries ($1 per lb.)
Bulbs ($1 each): LEDs, incandescents, compact fluorescents, and straight fluorescent tubes (4 ft and under)
Small general electronics ($10 per person for 2 plastic grocery bags of electronics): Accepting electronics the size of a shoebox or smaller. Examples: phones, tablets, laptops, cables, cords, chargers, wires, irons, curling irons, hair dryers, video game equipment.
